I used this to mold sugar cookie dough into teeny shells to be baked and added to ocean’s edge decorated cookies. Worked perfectly! I was worried about the dough not releasing from the molds without staying formed, but it wasn’t an issue at all.

Worked super well! I’ve never used a mild before but was able to get my shapes out easily without any breaking! I only wish the starfish were a bit bigger or deeper. But the shells al came out beautifully!

These molds were super easy to use for beginners. The melted chocolate popped right out, and the detailing was AMAZING. Our biggest struggle was not dripping chocolate in the space between each mold for a clean removal.

Review from my wife: I’ve purchased several molds over the years for use with fondant and these are hands down the best! They’re very flexible and the fondant pops right out of the molds with beautiful details, even in the smallest and most intricate shell cavities. A light dusting of powdered sugar/corn starch is all that is needed prior to filling the cavities and a quick wipe with a fluffy brush cleans off any excess powdered sugar/cornstarch residue once you’re finished with the molds. Excellent products!

I can’t get enough of these beautiful, detailed shells!!! I use epoxy resin in these and have experimented with mica powders, glitters and alcohol ink. All come out gorgeous and highly detailed.Experience notes:- EXTREMELY easy to remove cured resin and clean. I haven’t even needed release spray.- Very easy to pour, but, to make life easier, use a small cup with spout or syringe to fill smaller molds.- Some of these have a matte finish, so know this in advance. However, it’s a very smooth, detailed finished. Brush directly with mica powders to get more of the chrome shine appearance. The seashells with textured dots (see image) do have a shiny finish and look amazing.- Great as resin inclusions for larger resin pieces, or attach bails for gorgeous jewelry.I’d recommend these molds without hesitation to resin crafters. I haven’t used them with other materials, so I can’t comment. However, I’d imagine they would serve you well for fondant, clay or wax.

Bought to make wax embeds to decorate candles. Most work without any issues. The silicone is a little stiff making a couple of the smaller thinner pieces hard to remove without cracking. But I use soy wax which is softer than most so may work better with a harder wax.

This was a Christmas gift for my daughter. She uses them for her epoxy resins.
