I ABSOLUTELY LOVE these sandals! I ordered a size up, because I wanted my heel to be above the tail. They are soooo comfy and I get comments anytime I wear them! They’re so squishy and comfy and stay on your feet well. I’m ordering every color now! I originally ordered the green ones and got the red ones, so I was a little disappointed at first. Then I thought, “they’re lobster sandals, who cares!?” I love them so much!

Do NOT wear these without socks, I slipped them on out of the shower and have chemical burns on the bottom of my feet now. My feet were completely dry. They had a strong chemical smell when I opened them so I let them air out for a week and they still smell like chemicals.

I got these to wear at a crawfish boil, but they got to me after the party. Oh well. They’re still so weird that I like them. They STUNK like chemicals when they arrived, so I put them outside for a few days and the smell went away. They are squishy and very comfortable so far. My 8 year old girl saw them today a decided she wants them (she’s big and we almost wear the same size shoe) so I have to give them to her or buy another pair. We’ll see.

This question isn’t why, it’s why WOULDN’T you want to walk around with (cooked?) lobsters on their feet?? To answer a few concerns, I just got these today, and yes, they do have a strong chemical smell to it (hope my toes and feet don’t fall off). You figure they were shipped from overseas in a sealed plastic bag, whatever the smell is, it had no where to escape to until I opened it. It feels a bit oily as well, common with molded rubber. The first thing I did was wash them thoroughly with dish soap to try to get rid of the oily residue. Then I placed it outside in the sun for a few hours. The sun is effective in getting rid of many odors. It definitely helped, unless I put the slippers to my nose, I don’t notice.Comfort wise, I think they’re equivalent to flip flops, the bottom is kind of thin (about 1/2′) definitely not as comfortable as say, Crocs.I found these to be so silly, that it’s funny!! My kids cracked up, I hope they don’t steal my slippers! I can’t wait to wear to a friend’s house by the beach!
